Live scan fingerprinting is a form of inkless electronic fingerprint files which are electronically transmitted to the Department of Justice and/or the FBI for a criminal-history record check. This type of fingerprinting is required in applications for nurses, physicians, teachers, real estate licensees, CPAs and attorneys — as well as anyone having contact with children or the elderly. Fingerprinting is also available at request for personal background check.
This option requires a Live Scan Request Form which we can help you find online. You are also required to show a valid identification card (state ID, driver’s license or passport). These two items must be presented at the time of service to complete the process.
The Live Scan Fingerprinting fee is $26 (a separate government processing fee may be applicable). The ink card service fee is $25 for the first card and $20 for any additional cards for the same individual. The blank FBI FD-258 cards are also available on-site for $1.00.
We welcome walk-ins during regular business hours. No appointment is necessary.6
